Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Plinio Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evil's waist but Evil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gomes off to one side.

Gomes feints and as Evil raises his hands in defense, Gomes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gomes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gomes trying to control but Evil is working from the bottom.
Evil working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gomes.

Gomes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Evil has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gomes has managed to get both his arms back between Evil's legs - danger averted.
Evil looking for a sweep. Not yet Evil, not yet.
Evil seems keen to control Gomes's posture.
Gomes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evil swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Evil wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gomes blocks a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gomes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gomes checks a low kick from Evil.
Evil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gomes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Evil defends it nicely.
Gomes shoots in looking for a takedown. Evil tries to sprawl out of it but Gomes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Evil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Plinio Gomes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gomes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Gomes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gomes not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Gomes is trying to control the action in half guard but Evil is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Evil looking for submissions off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Gomes or perhaps it was just good defense by Evil which made him look bad.

Evil throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Evil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gomes.
Evil scores with a nice strike.
Evil throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Gomes colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Evil as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Gomes is left battered and dazed whilst Evil and his camp cheer!
