Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heiji Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darco Slammo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heiji Endo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darco Slammo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slammo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Slammo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Endo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Slammo throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Endo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Endo is controlling Slammo's trapped leg to prevent Slammo from advancing to side control.

Slammo wants to pass to mount but Endo is defending the position.
Slammo is trying to control the action in half guard but Endo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Endo won't allow Slammo to pass to mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Endo is trying to maintain the position but Slammo is very close to passing his half guard.
Endo is not content to let Slammo control the position.
Endo is looking for a sweep. Slammo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Endo is working hard here to advance position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Slammo or perhaps it was just good defense by Endo which made him look bad.
Nice defenses there by Slammo.
Endo swings for the body but Slammo moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Slammo.
Endo tries to clinch up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Endo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Endo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slammo on the side of the head.
Endo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Slammo.
Endo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slammo.
A slow jab from Slammo misses its intended target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Slammo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Endo misses the jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heiji Endo dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Slammo needs to keep his hands up - Endo had a free shot at his head there.
Endo misses the shot to the body.
Slammo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slammo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Endo tries to clinch but Slammo moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Endo misses with a hook. Slammo ducked under it nicely.
Endo tries to close the distance and clinch but Slammo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slammo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Slammo ducks under a wild hook from Endo.
Endo with a poor takedown

and Slammo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Endo!
Slammo avoids the attempt from Endo to control.
Slammo looking to control but Endo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Endo tries to hold on but Slammo postures up.
Endo is looking to get to half guard.
Slammo is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Endo tries to reverse the position but Slammo maintains control.
Endo is squirming around, avoiding Slammo's attempts to control the action.
Endo wants to control but Slammo is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Endo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Slammo is pressing down on Endo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Endo is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Endo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Darco Slammo will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Slammo ducks under a wild hook from Endo.
Endo throws a shot from downtown. Slammo moves away and avoids it.
Slammo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Endo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Endo throws a looping overhand right but Slammo ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slammo avoids the body shot from Endo.
Endo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Endo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slammo sprawls well initially but Endo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Endo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Slammo defends it well.
Endo is trying to control the action in half guard but Slammo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Endo wants to pass the guard but Slammo is defending well.

Endo wants to work for an arm triangle but Slammo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Endo wants to take a breather but Slammo is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Endo thows a body shot but no joy.

Slammo shoots and misses
enabling Endo to counter with a crisp jab.
Endo tries to clinch up but Slammo circles away and keeps his distance.
Heiji Endo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Endo is looking to clinch.
Slammo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slammo wants it to stay on the feet.
Slammo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Endo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Heiji Endo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darco Slammo.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Endo misses with a hook. Slammo ducked under it nicely.
Endo tries to clinch up but Slammo circles away and keeps his distance.

Slammo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Endo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Endo can't do much from the bottom here.

Endo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Heiji Endo showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Endo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
