The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casuo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Casuo fails with a takedown attempt.
van der Vaart dodges the punch combination from Casuo.
Casuo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. van der Vaart defends it nicely.
Casuo looks for a takedown but van der Vaart sprawls well.
Soloman van der Vaart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Casuo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some wild striking there from van der Vaart.
Casuo moves out of range of the strikes.

It looks like Pablo Casuo has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Casuo.
van der Vaart throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Casuo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Casuo is trying desperately to land a takedown but van der Vaart is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Casuo.

van der Vaart stuns Casuo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
van der Vaart misses with the combination.
Soloman van der Vaart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Casuo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and van der Vaart counters with a lovely straight right hand!

van der Vaart drops Casuo with a beautiful combination! Casuo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - van der Vaart is looking for the KO!

Casuo is rocked!

That has opened up Pablo Casuo's cut even more.
van der Vaart dances in with a quick combination. Casuo is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from van der Vaart snaps Casuo's head back. Casuo stumbles backwards against the cage. van der Vaart steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Casuo's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Casuo just didn't come prepared.
