The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiruko shoots for a double leg takedown but Martinez sprawls well. He's pushed Hiruko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Martinez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
