Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sunny Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van der lie silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sunny Lim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
silva tries to stand and escape but Lim actually recovers to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lim is pulling down on silva's head. It's preventing any offense from silva, at least for the moment.

silva stands up from Lim's guard - silva perhaps looking for a knockout.

Lim lands a front kick.

silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
silva is keen to just control but Lim is a slippery customer.
Lim is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take silva's back!

silva trying to control but not successfully.
You can see the frustration on silva's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
silva wants to control his opponent's hands but Lim gets his hands free.

Lim misses with an elbow to the head.
Lim misses with a punch to the head.
Lim keeps control of the position as silva tries to break free.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
silva is trying to stand back up.

silva is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lim gets his way!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Lim sprawls well. He's pushed silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lim tries a head kick but it misses.
Lim throws a solid leg kick but silva takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lim.

and silva counters with a nice body kick.

silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lim being controlled here, momentarily.

silva moves nicely into side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

silva stands up and beckons Lim to his feet.
Lim doesn't succeed with the takedown

and silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lim keeping moving, preventing silva from controlling successfully.

silva stands up from Lim's guard - silva perhaps looking for a knockout.
silva blocks a head kick by Lim.

silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lim napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lim is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, silva asserts his dominance and retains side control.

silva stands up and we're back to a striking position.

silva closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
silva effectively controlling the action here.
silva looking to throw knees to the head but Lim is blocking nicely.

Van der lie silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and silva counters with a head kick. That will keep Lim thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Sunny Lim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

silva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Lim wants to control but silva is having none of it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

silva wants to take Lim's back but he can't do it this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

silva gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lim manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
silva wants to pass the guard but Lim is keeping the position.
silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lim wants to stand but silva is controlling the position.
Sunny Lim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

silva gets to his feet - Lim follows without any prompting.

Van der lie silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
