The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn missing with a left hand there. Mies was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Quinn throws a right hand that Mies ducks under and follows up with a left that Mies also avoids with ease.
Mies keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Quinn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Quinn throws a jab when Mies was well out of range.
Mies scores with a shot to the body.
Mies misses with the combination.
Quinn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Quinn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Quinn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Quinn throws a jab but it's blocked by Mies.
Mies stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A punch lands to the side of Quinn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mies lands a jab-cross combination.
Quinn looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mies throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Quinn on the side of the head.
Quinn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mies sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mies misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch lands to the side of Quinn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Quinn throws a left and a right that both miss

and Mies counters with a crisp one two that drops Quinn! Mies thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Quinn to his feet! Quinn is in big trouble!

Quinn is rocked!
Mies dances in with a quick combination. Quinn is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mies snaps Quinn's head back. Quinn stumbles backwards against the cage. Mies steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Quinn's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Quinn just didn't come prepared.
