Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Firuz Shahzad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Razzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shahzad comes to the cage accompanied by Fuel My Fire (The Prodigy). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shahzad feints and then cracks Razzman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Razzman down.
Shahzad looks to land a combination. Razzman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Scott Razzman has been cut.
Razzman lands an overhand right.
Shahzad misses with a double jab.

Razzman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Razzman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Razzman tries to move to mount but Shahzad blocks the move with his legs.
Shahzad is looking to reverse the position.

Razzman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Shahzad, who protects the arm well.

Razzman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Shahzad rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Razzman's guard! Nice work there by Shahzad!
Razzman looks gassed!
Shahzad slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Razzman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Shahzad looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Shahzad wants to get up but he can't break Razzman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Razzman is looking for a triangle here but Shahzad uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Shahzad decides to stand back up. Shahzad steps back and let's Razzman get back to his feet.
Razzman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shahzad.
A chopping leg kick lands by Shahzad.
Shahzad throws a right hand that Razzman ducks under and follows up with a left that Razzman also avoids with ease.
Shahzad dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Razzman. That did some damage!
A combination from Shahzad does no damage.
Razzman slips a jab and a cross from Shahzad.
Shahzad throws a series of punches but Razzman moves out of range.
Danga de danga de dang - Shahzad scores with a four punch combination!

Shahzad lands a nice leg kick that just misses Razzman's sensitive parts.
Shahzad fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Razzman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shahzad.
Shahzad swings for the body but Razzman moves out of range.
Shahzad stuffs the takedown attempt from Razzman. Razzman gets slowly back to his feet.
Shahzad is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Razzman hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
