PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vegas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jack Vegas by MNEMIC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson misses with a two punch combination.
Tyson throws a nice looking combination but Vegas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tyson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vegas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Vegas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Tyson is breathing heavily.
Vegas with shots to the head and body - Tyson looks very uncomfortable down there.
Vegas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tyson looks a forlorn figure.
Vegas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Tyson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vegas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vegas feints and as Tyson raises his hands in defense, Vegas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tyson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vegas is controlling him.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vegas's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tyson misses with a few strikes there.
Vegas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Tyson throws a series of punches but Vegas moves out of range.

Vegas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tyson wants to stand but Vegas is controlling the position.
Tyson has momentary wrist control but Vegas slips an elbow through the middle.

Tyson is wriggling around but Vegas manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyson wants to improve his position but Vegas is controlling well.
Vegas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Vegas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tyson misses with a double jab.
Vegas displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Tyson tries to move into range but Vegas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Vegas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vegas showed some decent athleticism there.

Vegas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tyson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vegas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tyson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Vegas is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tyson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tyson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Vegas anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tyson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Vegas slips an arm under Tyson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Vegas has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Vegas is squeezing on Tyson like an anaconda would it's prey. Tyson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
