PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Le Petit Criss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Criss comes to the cage accompanied by La danse des canards. Striker has chosen MMA THEME as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Le Petit Criss has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Le Petit Criss seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Le Petit Criss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Liam Striker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Criss changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Striker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Striker wants to get back to his feet but Criss drags him back down.

Criss is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Striker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Criss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Striker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Striker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Striker is trying to buck Criss off.
Criss tries to move to mount but Striker blocks the move with his legs.

Criss is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Striker is surviving well by controlling Criss's body position as best he can.
