Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Paige (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong comes to the cage accompanied by Get Down On The Ground. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paige throws a hook but Chong avoids it easily.
Chong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Decent striking displayed by Paige there.
Paige goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Paige moves out of range of the strikes.
Bob Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chong drives through and clinches with Paige against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Paige wants to stand up but Chong is controlling him.
Chong drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chong jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chong throws a hook but Paige avoids it easily.

Paige connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chong's hands.
Paige throws a right and a left that Chong avoids nicely.
Chong shoots in but Paige avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Chong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Paige is fending him off so far but Chong persists. Nope, Paige circles away and we're back to standing.

Paige connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chong's hands.
Chong shoots in for a double leg but Paige sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Horrible takedown by Chong or perhaps it was just good defense by Paige which made him look bad.

Chong looks to land a left hand but Paige moved out of range nicely.
Paige's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Paige duly obliges.
Paige stuffs the takedown attempt from Chong. Chong gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chong gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Paige ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Chong is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Paige.
Paige scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Paige stalks Chong and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chong's face. Chong staggers backwards, shaken.
Chong walks into a left hand.
Chong closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chong gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Paige throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Chong is rocked!
Paige is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Chong had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Paige jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Oh Chong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paige swats away the attempt to clinch by Chong.
Paige connects with a single shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Stan Paige will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Paige lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chong takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Chong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chong gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Paige drops Chong with a big left hand! Chong is injured, injured bad! Paige jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
