Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pierre BoocheyBooge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Mende (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre BoocheyBooge has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BoocheyBooge tries to close the distance and clinch but Mende swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mende looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mende clinches up with BoocheyBooge and pushes him back against the cage.
Mende has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. BoocheyBooge is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

BoocheyBooge looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mende is refusing to be controlled, as BoocheyBooge sits in half guard.
BoocheyBooge stalling away here and it's allowed Mende to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Pierre BoocheyBooge just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
BoocheyBooge throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

BoocheyBooge feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mende had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. BoocheyBooge is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mende Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take BoocheyBooge's back instead.

Mende is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but BoocheyBooge has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Mende throws a right hand that BoocheyBooge ducks under and follows up with a left that BoocheyBooge also avoids with ease.
