The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Montana bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Fedor Gracie has been cut.

Gracie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Montana finds it's way round the side to connect with Gracie's head.
Fedor Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Montana.
Montana swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Montana's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Montana holds on and takes a little breather.
Montana working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Montana takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Well Montana has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
