The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wafers gets a takedown into half guard.

Wafers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wafers tries to free his leg and advance position but Boyer is retaining full guard.
Wafers throws a strike but Boyer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Boyer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wafers is proving hard to escape from.

Wafers pushes Boyer off and gets back to his feet.
Wafers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boyer.
Wafers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boyer circles away quickly and effectively.
Wafers throws a series of punches but Boyer moves out of range.
Wafers closes the distance and clinches up with Boyer, looking for a takedown. Wafers pushes Boyer against the cage but Boyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boyer catches Wafers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Wafers uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boyer.
Wafers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boyer circles away quickly and effectively.
No luck for Wafers with that takedown attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Boyer.
Wafers misses with a takedown attempt - Boyer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Boyer throws a shot from downtown. Wafers moves away and avoids it.
Wafers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Wafers is rocked!
Boyer fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Wafers to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Wafers looks to clinch but Boyer throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Wafers taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
