Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caleb Vidal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Dean!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vidal moves away from the strike by Dean.
No joy there for Dean, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vidal.
Vidal blocks a head kick by Dean.
Dean chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dean clinches up against the cage.
Dean throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Dean keeps control of Vidal as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Vidal has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dean is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Vidal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dean prevents it.

Jimmy Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vidal tries to clinch up but Dean circles away and keeps his distance.
Vidal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dean as he jumps to the side.
Dean feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dean is pushing down on Vidal's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vidal is fighting to maintain full guard but Dean has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dean goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vidal rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dean's guard! Nice work there by Vidal!

Vidal shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vidal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dean on the ground.

Jimmy Dean comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dean has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
