PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keli Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jason Connor was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Beast tries to close the distance and clinch but Connor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Connor tightens his grip and picks Beast up, before dumping him to the ground. Beast manages to land in guard.

Beast is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Connor pushes down on Beast's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Connor has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Connor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Beast manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Beast has his feet on Connor's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Connor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beast was covering up waiting for the punch and Connor finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Beast striking off his back but it's not causing Connor any problems.

Jason Connor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Connor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
