PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Anson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett INT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anson comes into the arena with ''South of Heaven'' by The Electric Hellfire Club blaring out of the sound system. Brett INT told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seth Anson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett INT!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by INT.
INT scores with a three punch combo!
Anson thuds a left hand into INT's body.
INT throws a shot from downtown. Anson moves away and avoids it.
A shot to the body from Anson misses
and INT counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Anson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Anson lunges at INT with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by INT's hand.

It looks like Brett INT has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anson lands with an overhand left.
Anson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
INT looks gassed!
Anson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

INT gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Anson trying to control but INT is working from the bottom.
INT avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Anson postures up and lands a big shot to INT's brow.
Anson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

That's one minute gone in the round.
INT wants to stand but Anson is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Anson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Anson distracts INT with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Anson with a nice head shot there.

That has opened up Brett INT's cut even more.
Anson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Anson is in close to INT's body, working some short punches and elbows.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Anson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Anson is working INT over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The cut above Brett INT's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

INT is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anson is controlling him.

Brett INT's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brett INT's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
