Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Schimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice shoots in for a takedown but Morris shows good takedown defense.
Slice wants to clinch up but Morris keeps it at a distance.
Morris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morris scores with a one two! Slice had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Schimbo Slice has been cut.
Morris ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Slice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morris pinned against the cage. Morris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Some wild striking there from Morris.
Slice is looking to clinch but Morris is avoiding it.
Slice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morris misses with a body shot.
Slice wants to clinch up but Morris keeps it at a distance.
Slice tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morris swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Slice fails with the takedown.
Nick Morris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Schimbo Slice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morris connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slice's hands.

Nick Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morris thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Slice if he has to take too many more of those.
Slice takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Morris throws a hook but Slice avoids it easily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Morris!
Morris throws a low kick but it's checked well by Slice.
Slice is trying desperately to land a takedown but Morris is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Slice.
Slice fails with an attempt to clinch.

Morris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Morris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Morris's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Morris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Slice is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Slice is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Morris has taken his back!

Morris has got one arm under Slice's chin. This could be trouble... Slice trying to control the other hand but Morris gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Slice has tapped out! The fight is over!
