Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Ricci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricci gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ricci fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ricci shoots in but Mark avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ricci shoots in for a double leg but Mark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mike Mark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Ricci.

Mark moves in looking to clinch but Ricci pushes him off.

Ricci throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mark's waist but Mark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ricci off to one side.

Mark closes the distance and pushes Ricci back into the cage.

Mark wants to break free but Ricci has control.
Ricci lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Ricci has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mark to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ricci is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mark pulls down on the head and he's put Ricci to sleep! This one is all over!
