PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frightey McScared (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jitsu comes to the ring accompanied by DJ Khaled-We Taking Over (Instrumental). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jiu Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frightey McScared!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu throws a hook but McScared blocks it.
Jitsu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McScared to score with a decent uppercut.
Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McScared pinned against the cage. McScared gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jitsu shoots for a double leg takedown but McScared sprawls well. He's pushed Jitsu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McScared tries to bum rush Jitsu with a series of wild strikes but Jitsu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice takedown defense from McScared. No joy for Jitsu on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jiu Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McScared misses with a few strikes there.
Jitsu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McScared's waist but McScared gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jitsu off to one side.
McScared changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jitsu is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McScared drops Jitsu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jitsu looks back up at him and smiles so McScared waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


It looks like Jiu Jitsu has been cut.
McScared tries to bum rush Jitsu with a series of wild strikes but Jitsu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Some wild striking there from McScared.
McScared tries to land a leg kick but Jitsu saw it coming and moves away.
Jitsu checks a leg kick nicely.
McScared throws a leg kick but Jitsu moved away.
McScared throws out a loose jab but Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jitsu blocks the body kick.
McScared throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jitsu.

Jitsu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jitsu tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McScared tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McScared can do anything to dispel that myth.
McScared is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jitsu is controlling him well.

Jitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McScared, who protects the arm well.
McScared tries to improve position but can't.
McScared is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
McScared wants to control but Jitsu postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jitsu checks a low kick from McScared.
Horrible takedown by Jitsu or perhaps it was just good defense by McScared which made him look bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McScared throws a leg kick but Jitsu moved away.
McScared lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
McScared leaves Jitsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McScared displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jitsu.
Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jitsu blocks a low kick nicely.
McScared connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jitsu's hands.
McScared throws a right hand that Jitsu ducks under and follows up with a left that Jitsu also avoids with ease.

McScared gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jitsu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Jitsu won't allow McScared to get back to his feet.
Jitsu wants to control from the top but McScared keeps moving.
Jitsu prevents McScared from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Jitsu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McScared, up you get!
McScared throws a nice looking combination but Jitsu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McScared tries to bum rush Jitsu with a series of wild strikes but Jitsu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McScared swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jitsu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McScared blocks a head kick by Jitsu.
McScared will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jitsu shoots for a takedown but McScared saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McScared throws a hook but Jitsu blocks it.
Nice takedown defense from McScared. No joy for Jitsu on that attempt.
McScared misses with a jab, cross combination.
McScared leaves Jitsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jitsu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

McScared keeping moving, preventing Jitsu from controlling successfully.

Jitsu drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jitsu as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McScared screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jitsu! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Jiu Jitsu!
