Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera comes to the cage accompanied by Run Away. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jax Teller!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Teller.
Rivera with a nice cross.

It looks like Jax Teller has been cut.
Rivera looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Teller fails with a takedown attempt.

Teller shoots in and bounces Rivera off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rivera is trying to control the position but Teller postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Teller trying to move into half guard but instead Rivera has managed to sweep!

Rivera thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Teller seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Teller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Teller working for submissions but it's allowed Rivera to get to half guard.
Rivera passes to side control.
Teller tries to improve position but can't.

Rivera has an Americana. Teller didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rivera is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rivera hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
