Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Bino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocaje vivo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
vivo throws a series of punches but Bino moves out of range.

Bino drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

vivo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bino drops back looking for a leg! vivo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and vivo manages to kick Bino off! Bino jumps back into vivo's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bino thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bino is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
vivo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
vivo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
vivo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bino paws at him with a jab and circles away.

No joy there for vivo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Pedro Bino has been cut.

vivo is pressed up against the cage. Bino has hold of a leg and is looking to drag vivo down to the mat. vivo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pedro Bino. That's going to take a lot out of him.

vivo lands a left and a right that send Bino crashing to the mat, dazed. vivo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
