Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ismo Laitela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Asturiem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laitela kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Anna Hanski - Tunteisiin. Asturiem has chosen Fernandinho - Sede de Justiça as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laitela changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Asturiem looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Asturiem is pushing Laitela's head away, looking to escape. Laitela manages to hold on to the position though.
Laitela stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Asturiem bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Laitela's head.

Asturiem goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Laitela is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Asturiem connects with a right hand. Laitela shakes it off.
Oh Laitela is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ismo Laitela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asturiem looks to land a combination. Laitela sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Asturiem bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Laitela's head backwards.
Nice uppercut lands for Asturiem. That snapped Laitela's head back.

Laitela seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Asturiem shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Laitela is backing up but Asturiem catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Laitela covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Asturiem Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
