Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lord Buddha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demarcus Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ware is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Put on. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ware forces Buddha back against the cage and clinches.

Ware has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Buddha clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Buddha is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Ware is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Ware thuds his shin into the meat of Buddha's side.

Ware feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Buddha's calf.

Ware feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Buddha throws a series of punches but Ware moves out of range.
Lord Buddha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Buddha takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Ware throws a head kick that Buddha semi-blocks.

It looks like Lord Buddha has been cut.
Ware throws a front kick that sends Buddha stumbling back into the cage.
Ware misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ware looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Buddha is trying to control but can't.

Ware moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Buddha.
Buddha struggling a bit here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ware stands up and beckons Buddha to his feet.

Ware misses with a double jab
letting Buddha counter with a right hand.
Ware explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Ware moves into range and clinches up with Buddha.
Ware lands a good knee to the midsection. Buddha won't want to take too many of those.

Ware escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ware goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ware uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Ware has taken the fight to the clinch.

Ware escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buddha fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ware on the side of the head.
Buddha steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ware. That one must have hurt.
Buddha bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ware's head.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ware.

Ware pushes Buddha up against the cage in a clinch.
Ware keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Buddha's efforts to push away.

Ware breaks the clinch.
Buddha misses with a takedown attempt

so Ware counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Ware drops back looking for a leg! Buddha is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Buddha manages to kick Ware off! Ware jumps back into Buddha's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ware is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Buddha sees it coming and defends easily.
Ware wants to control but Buddha is keeping him busy.
Demarcus Ware has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ware is pressing down on Buddha's thigh, looking to free his foot. Buddha is holding on for now.
Buddha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ware wants to free his trapped foot but Buddha is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Demarcus Ware showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ware tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buddha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ware has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Buddha throws a lazy right hand but Ware sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Buddha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ware defends well.

Ware is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buddha defends it well.
Buddha tries to roll over but Ware keeps him under control.

Buddha tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Ware has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Buddha is trying to reverse the position but instead Ware has taken his back - oops!

Ware has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Buddha is defending well but eventually Ware manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Buddha has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
