Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sadollah Amir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wan Iaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iaton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Iaton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amir moves away.
Amir throws a head kick that misses.
Amir throws a leg kick but Iaton sees it coming and moves out of range.
Amir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A low kick from Iaton misses
and Amir makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Iaton really felt that one!
A chopping leg kick lands by Amir.
Amir throws a nice head kick!
Iaton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Amir has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Iaton is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Iaton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Amir throws a head kick but Iaton moves out of range.
Iaton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Iaton misses the shot to the body.
Iaton throws a hook but Amir blocks it.
A clash of legs there as Iaton blocks the low kick.
Iaton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Iaton looks to score with a jab to the body but Amir is just out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Iaton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Amir throws a head kick but Iaton moves out of range.
Iaton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Amir tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee warns Amir that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Iaton connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Amir is trying desperately to improve position.
Amir wants to control but Iaton is having none of it.
Iaton pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A nice elbow there by Iaton.

Iaton postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Amir bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Iaton and the fight is over!
