Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between sergio Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nosfe Ratu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Penn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bruddah Iz - E Ala E. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ratu misses with a body shot.
Penn shoots in for a takedown but Ratu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Penn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ratu to score with a decent uppercut.
Ratu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ratu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ratu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ratu wants it to stay on the feet.
Penn misses the jab.
Penn shoots in looking for a takedown. Ratu tries to sprawl out of it but Penn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ratu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for sergio Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ratu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Penn scores with a sloppy right hand. Ratu should have avoided that one.
Ratu blocks a jab.
Penn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ratu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Penn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Penn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Penn misses with a looping right.
Ratu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ratu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ratu throws an overhand right that lands on Penn's shoulder, as Penn tries to avoid the shot.
Ratu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ratu's half guard.
Penn not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ratu pushes Penn off looking to stand but Penn dives back in and keeps control.
Penn wants to work for an arm triangle but Ratu is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Penn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Penn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Penn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ratu is just riding it out for now. Penn eventually gives up the hold.
Penn is breathing heavily.

Ratu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Penn.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A nice combination there by Ratu.
Ratu connects with a looping right hand.
Penn scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ratu tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ratu to the ground. Ratu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Penn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ratu throws a series of strikes that have Penn backpedaling.
It looks like sergio Penn has been cut.
Penn wants to clinch.
Ratu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Ratu misses with a hook. Penn ducked under it nicely.
A punch lands to the side of Penn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nosfe Ratu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Penn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ratu circles away quickly and effectively.
Penn misses with a takedown attempt - Ratu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ratu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ratu scores with a nice strike.
Penn shoots in for a double leg but Ratu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ratu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Penn on the side of the head.
Ratu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Penn is rocked!
Ratu drops Penn with a big left hand! Penn is injured, injured bad! Ratu jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
