Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Gabriel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Magahin!
Magahin tries to lock up and control but Gabriel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Magahin is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magahin just holding on.
Magahin tries to hold on but Gabriel pushes him away.
Magahin is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Magahin is squirming around, avoiding Gabriel's attempts to control the action.
Magahin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Magahin working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gabriel is working for a guillotine from mount but Magahin frees his head quite easily.
Gabriel looks gassed!
Gabriel thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Magahin is working to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gabriel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Magahin squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Gabriel is looking to work his way around to Magahin's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Magahin is trying to escape the mount.
Gabriel trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Gabriel avoids the attempt from Magahin to control.
Magahin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Gabriel trying to control from half guard but Magahin is working away.
Magahin is trying to stand.
Gabriel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Magahin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gabriel prevents Magahin from improving his position.
Gabriel looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Magahin controlling the position for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Magahin lands a big head kick that sends Gabriel tumbling to the mat! Magahin takes a step backwards and waves Gabriel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gabriel is rocked!
It looks like Justin Gabriel has been cut.
Gabriel shoots for a takedown but Magahin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Magahin lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Gabriel falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). William Magahin!
