Japaneze has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Ez Japaneze could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ian Kingsler's chin.

Japaneze gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kingsler to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Japaneze is breathing heavily.
Kingsler passes Japaneze's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kingsler lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kingsler wants to take a breather but Japaneze is having none of it.

Kingsler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Japaneze is refusing to be controlled, as Kingsler sits in half guard.

Kingsler wants to pass to mount but Japaneze is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kingsler works his way into side control.
Japaneze stops Kingsler from passing to mount.

Kingsler has hold of Japaneze's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Japaneze tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kingsler cranks the arm and Japaneze screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Japaneze, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
