The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miguel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Toppinen wants to control but Miguel is keeping busy.
Toppinen controlling the position well.
Toppinen is looking to control Miguel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Toppinen avoid being mounted?
Toppinen is controlling Miguel's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Toppinen manages to get to full guard.
Miguel wants to control from the top but Toppinen keeps moving.

Toppinen is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Miguel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Toppinen with a poor takedown

and Miguel counters with a shoot takedown. Toppinen fights it but they end up in guard.
Miguel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Toppinen has his foot on Miguel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Miguel works his way back into a safe position though.
Toppinen looks gassed!

Toppinen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Toppinen controls Miguel momentarily but Miguel frees himself.
Toppinen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Miguel kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Miguel tries to bench press Toppinen off him but Toppinen keeps the position.

Toppinen has hold of Miguel's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Miguel seems comfortable defending it but Toppinen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Miguel is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Miguel is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Toppinen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
