Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Cloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Cloud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Price!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Price avoids the head kick by Cloud.
Cloud pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cloud throws out a loose jab but Price uses good head movement to avoid it.

Price shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cloud napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cloud manages to work his way to half guard, despite Price's best efforts.
Price working Cloud over with strikes.
Cloud punching from the bottom.
Price keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Cloud is not content to let Price control the position.
Price working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Cloud gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cloud tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Price throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cloud works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cloud has control of Price's left arm, preventing Price from doing any damage.
Price with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cloud is looking to stand up but Price isn't so interested in that idea.

Cloud preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Cloud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cloud on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cloud tries to get out of the position.
Price might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cloud kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Price throws a big right hand that misses.
Price must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Price in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Price fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cloud avoids it really well and circles away.
Cloud fails with the takedown

and Price counters with a takedown into side control.
Price misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Cloud is trying to control Price's posture but Price avoids it.
Price lands a decent elbow from side control.
Price working away.
Price lands some shots froms side control.
Cloud is trying to control Price's posture but Price avoids it.
Cloud is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Price asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Cloud struggling a bit here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Price grinds an elbow into Cloud's temple.
Price throws a strike aimed at the side of Cloud's head but Cloud avoids it well.
Price taking a break here but Cloud is having none of it and regains half guard.
Price prevents Cloud from standing back up.
Price is thwarting Cloud's attempts to control the position.
Price not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Cloud is looking to escape.
Cloud trying to control but Price postures up.

Travis Price dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Price displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cloud.
Price looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Cloud pushes Price away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Price gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Price wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cloud keeps working.
Cloud is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Price throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
An elbow from Price crashes against the mat.
Price working the ground and pound but Cloud is defending the strikes.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cloud lands with a kick to the temple. Price shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Price prevents Cloud from improving his position.
Price is trying to control the action in half guard but Cloud is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Cloud is trying to stand.

Cloud looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Price trying to pass the guard but Cloud defending well.
Cloud wants to get back to his feet.
Price is looking to stall here but Cloud recovers full guard.
Price postures up in Cloud's guard and throws a big left but Cloud blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
No luck for Price with that takedown attempt.
Tony Cloud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Price.
Cloud tries to score a power double leg takedown but Price sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cloud somewhat.

Good work by Price as he checks the leg kick.
Cloud looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Price is fending him off so far but Cloud persists. Nope, Price circles away and we're back to standing.

Cloud fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Price.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Price shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travis Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cloud keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Price is looking to advance position but Cloud has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Cloud looking to control but Price is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Price tries to hold on but Cloud postures up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Price holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Cloud tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Price is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Cloud looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Price tries to hold on but Cloud pushes him away.
Cloud sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Cloud tries to control but Price wriggling away.
Cloud unloads with some shots from mount but Price bucks and avoids them well.
Cloud thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Price has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Cloud's lack of action.
Cloud prevents Price from improving his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Tony Cloud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Price shoots in looking for a takedown. Cloud tries to sprawl out of it but Price keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cloud manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Price shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Price was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Price takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Price throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Price wants to control the pace but Cloud is squirming around nicely.
Tony Cloud has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Travis Price is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

I would just about give that final round to Travis Price.
I've got Price winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
