The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott scores with a one two! Harley had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Harley pushes Scott off looking to stand but Scott dives back in and keeps control.
Scott slows the pace down in half guard.
Harley is trying to escape back to his feet but Scott uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Harley wants to control but Scott postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Harley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scott asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Scott could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Harley wants to control but Scott postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Scott looks for a takedown but Harley sprawls well.
Harley shoots in but Scott avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Harley counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Harley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Scott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Harley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Scott misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Scott manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Harley gets to his feet. Scott looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bull Harley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Scott wants to clinch.

Scott moves out of range of the body kick from Harley.
Harley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Scott doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Harley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Scott is breathing heavily.
Scott wants to clinch up but Harley keeps it at a distance.
Scott rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Harley lands with a nice combination. Scott backs away looking to recover.

Scott has picked Harley up - he's going for a ride! Scott dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harley has one foot on Scott's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Harley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Scott breaks the clinch.

Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Scott is working Harley over with some ground and pound from side control.
Scott advances nicely into full mount.
Harley wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Scott.
Harley avoids a series of strikes thrown by Scott.
Harley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Amir Scott will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Harley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Scott. That did some damage!

Scott tries to keep at a distance but Harley has taken the fight into the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Harley.
Harley comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Harley.
Harley lands a body punch.
Harley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Scotts head.

Harley breaks the clinch.

Harley rushes Scott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Scott is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Harley is keeping busy.

Harley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Harley gets the takedown into side control.

Scott is rocked!

Harley stands up and beckons Scott to his feet.
Oh Scott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Harley shoots in and bounces Scott off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Harley stands up out of Scott's guard for a moment - Scott manages to land a nice upkick.

Scott is looking to sweep but instead, Harley has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harley is looking to take a break and control but Scott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Amir Scott overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Harley darts in trying to clinch

and Scott counters with a nice double leg into side control. Harley won't be happy with that.
Harley bucks up and tries to throw Scott off but instead Scott has got his back!
Harley is trapped and Scott is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Harley trying to control the action but Scott just sinks the hooks in.
Harley has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Harley is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Harley turns into Scott and is now in his guard.
Harley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scott is proving hard to escape from.
Scott wants to sweep here but Harley controlling him for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Harley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Scott circles away from the clinch attempt
and Scott counters with a left and a right that stings Harley.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Scott.
Harley misses with a few strikes there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Harley throws a combination. Scott tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Scott darts in trying to clinch
and Harley counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Scott has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
