Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sterling Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jay Morrison!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer misses with a wild combination.
Archer throws a head kick that Morrison semi-blocks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Morrison.
Archer misses the shot to the body.
Archer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morrison swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Morrison bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Morrison working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Archer tries to bench press Morrison off him but Morrison keeps the position.

Morrison is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Archer has escaped the position, nice work there.

Morrison tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Morrison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Morrison remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Archer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Morrison is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Archer tries to roll over but Morrison keeps him under control.
Morrison has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Morrison swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Archer is now in Morrison's guard. A big mistake from Morrison there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morrison is breathing heavily.

Archer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Morrison dives on top into guard.

Morrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Archer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Morrison pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Archer is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morrison looking to sit in guard and control but Archer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Archer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Archer wants to pass the guard but Morrison is keeping the position.

Archer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morrison is just riding it out for now. Archer eventually gives up the hold.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Morrison gets the takedown into side control.

Morrison goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Archer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Morrison's guard! Nice work there by Archer!
Archer wants to control from the top but Morrison keeps moving.

Archer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Morrison manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Archer has Morrison in his guard.
Archer wants to get back to his feet but Morrison is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Archer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morrison manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Morrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Morrison drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Morrison is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Archer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Archer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Morrison wants to pass the guard but Archer is defending well.
Morrison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Archer keeps working.

Morrison is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Morrison takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Archer wants to improve his position but Morrison is controlling well.
Morrison is pressing down on Archer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Archer is holding on for now.
Archer is trying to get back to full guard.

Morrison is persistently looking for the submission but Archer is defending it well.

Archer doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Jay Morrison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Morrison winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
