Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chambers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 2pac - I'm A Souljah. Thompson has chosen Yo Yo Scrape by Skinny Puppy as his entrance music. Marlon Chambers has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Thompson tries to advance to mount but can't.
Chambers is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Chambers is trying to control Thompson's posture but Thompson avoids it.
Chambers tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thompson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Chambers gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Thompson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Thompson looking to ground and pound but Chambers is blocking nicely.

Thompson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Chambers is trying desperately to improve position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chambers is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Chambers wants to control but Thompson is having none of it.
Thompson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Chambers throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
Thompson is hanging on to Chambers's back as he tries to escape.

Chambers is in a bad position with Thompson working for a choke. Chambers manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chambers gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Thompson postures up.
Chambers is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Thompson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chambers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thompson has Chambers in his guard.
Chambers wants to control from the top but Thompson keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thompson is on top in guard.
Chambers tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Chambers wants to improve his position but instead Thompson has moved into half guard.

Chambers pushes Thompson off and gets back to his feet.
Chambers has his takedown stuffed

so Thompson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Thompson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Thompson seems to have locked his on tight now - Chambers screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Thompson, as he picks up the win!
