Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jenkins Hoss!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
J tries to clinch but Hoss moves out of range.
Hoss is trying hard to land a takedown here. J sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
J scores with a one two! Hoss had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hoss scores a takedown into full mount!
J is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
J is looking to improve his position but Hoss isn't that keen on the idea.
Hoss throws some wild stikes that J manages to avoid easily.
Hoss sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
J is working to get back to half guard.
Hoss controlling from the full mount.

J wants to hold on but Hoss pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
J tries to reverse the position but Hoss maintains control.
Hoss working away from the top, dropping strikes.
J tries to hold on but Hoss postures up.
Hoss tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
J wants to control but Hoss is having none of it.

Hoss looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
J tries to get back to half guard but can't.
J swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
J is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hoss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
J tries to lock up and control but Hoss gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hoss lands a big shot there that rocks J but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hoss landing strikes from the mount and J is in trouble!
J is looking to improve his position but Hoss isn't that keen on the idea.
J is breathing heavily.
Hoss controlling his opponent.
J tries to lock up and control but Hoss gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jenkins Hoss dominated that round.

J misses with a takedown attempt

and Hoss counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in J's guard now.
Hoss is stalling in the full guard.
J looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hoss is one step ahead there.
J wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hoss manages to pass to side control.
Hoss controlling the action here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jenkins Hoss just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hoss shoots in for a takedown but J shows good takedown defense.
Hoss closes the distance looking to clinch

and J moves into the clinch.
J is trying to break the clinch but Hoss is controlling him.
J jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hoss walks away with a smile on his face. J gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
J has his takedown stuffed

and Hoss counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hoss.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for H J. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hoss is stalling in the full guard.
Hoss with a nice head shot there.

J wants to control the position but Hoss says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Hoss controlling the pace.
Jenkins Hoss has got the better of the ground game so far.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jenkins Hoss just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
J misses with a takedown attempt

and Hoss counters with a takedown into side control.
Hoss controlling the position.
J is trying to control Hoss's posture but Hoss avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hoss working the head and body with strikes.
Hoss scoring with punches and elbows.
Hoss working the body and head with strikes.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jenkins Hoss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! J's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Hoss shoots in looking for a takedown. J tries to sprawl out of it but Hoss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. J manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoss tries to clinch but J moves away

and J counters with a takedown into side control.
Hoss is looking for a sweep.
J creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hoss sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
J trying to control the position but Hoss is working away.
J wants to take a breather but Hoss manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for J.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
J wants to stand and escape but instead Hoss has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hoss stays in close to J's body and controls the position.
J not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
J wants to stand and escape but Hoss is having none of it.
Hoss is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hoss postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hoss is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hoss passes into half guard.
Jenkins Hoss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Hoss not doing much here.

J is desperately trying to improve his position but Hoss has a good base and remains in mount.
