PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Kraus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helton Barroso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barroso has chosen Da Blazz - Pamodi Ki En Ta Luta as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barroso but Barroso pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kraus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kraus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Barroso is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barroso is looking to take a break and control but Kraus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Barroso is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Barroso really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kraus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Barroso prevents Kraus from improving his position.
It looks like Barroso is going to stand back up.
Kraus tries to roll over but Barroso keeps him under control.

Barroso wants to take a breather but Kraus is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Barroso tries to bum rush Kraus with a series of wild strikes but Kraus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kraus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barroso sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kraus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kraus showed some decent athleticism there.
