The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimwacker tries to close the distance and clinch but Souza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Grimwacker looks to land a combination but Souza avoids it well.
Grimwacker misses with a two punch combination.
Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Grimwacker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Souza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Grimwacker gets caught flat footed, as Souza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Souza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Grimwacker holds on and takes a little breather.
