Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brett Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lange shoots for a double leg takedown but Fuller sprawls well. He's pushed Lange's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lange could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fuller feints and as Lange raises his hands in defense, Fuller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fuller gets to his feet - Lange follows without any prompting.
Fuller moves out of range as Lange throws a body kick.
Fuller moves away from the strike by Lange.
A choreographed right hand from Lange misses the target.
Lange keeps the fight on the outside.

Fuller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fuller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lange gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Fuller counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fuller is controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Fuller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lange tries to get to full guard but Fuller has control of the leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Still in half guard, Fuller seems content to control.

Lange shoots and misses

and Fuller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lange wants to stand up but Fuller is controlling him.

Fuller wants to pass the guard but Lange is keeping the position.
Fuller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lange works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fuller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lange's waist but Lange gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fuller off to one side.

Fuller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lange. That did some damage!

Fuller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lange is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fuller, into his guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fuller is pulling down on Lange's head to control his posture.

Larry Fuller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fuller has gone for a leg lock! Lange slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fuller's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lange throws a leg kick that is checked

Lange lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fuller!

Fuller is desperately trying to improve his position but Lange has a good base and remains in mount.

Fuller is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fuller looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Lange has the hooks in. Fuller is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Larry Fuller has got the better of the ground game so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lange's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
I really don't envy Fuller right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Lange's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lange throws a left and a right that both miss

Fuller slows the pace down in half guard.
Lange has a hand on Fuller's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Fuller takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Lange is desperately trying to improve his position but Fuller has a good base and remains in mount.

Fuller's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lange wants to control but Fuller is having none of it.

Well Fuller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
