Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baum kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye of the Tiger. The key to victory for Adam Baum has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harris swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Baum misses with a head kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Harris circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baum tries to clinch up but Harris circles away and keeps his distance.
Baum looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Baum tries to clinch but Harris moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baum tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Harris paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat.

Baum swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Baum leaves Harris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Harris counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Baum is aware though and is defending well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Baum wants to clinch up but Harris keeps it at a distance.
Adam Baum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

so Harris counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Baum looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baum keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully.

Jake Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Harris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baum is just riding it out for now. Harris eventually gives up the hold.
Baum kicks Harris off and gets back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Harris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Baum fails with the takedown
and Harris counters with a shoot takedown. Baum fights it but they end up in guard.
Harris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Baum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground.
Harris drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baum looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baum looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baum!

The strikes coming from Baum are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ground and pound from Baum seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

I've got Harris winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
