Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between matt bera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamid Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Magomedov pinned against the cage. Magomedov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Magomedov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from bera.
Magomedov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Magomedov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Magomedov sizes up bera with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
bera throws and low kick but Magomedov moves out of range easily.
Magomedov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
bera is working to get back to half guard.

Magomedov sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Magomedov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with bera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Magomedov unloads with some shots from mount but bera bucks and avoids them well.
Magomedov is trying to control here but bera has managed to regain half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magomedov content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because bera has locked up a guillotine! bera's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Magomedov is holding on here and bera must be using up a lot of energy. Magomedov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! bera gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
