The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from York.
York shoots in but no luck this time.
York has taken the fight to the clinch.
Handle is trying to drag York to the mat but York just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

York fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Handle manages to avoid it.
Handle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Handle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Handle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

York is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Handle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

York is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Handle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
