Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samoel Croco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Croco is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bate Pesadão. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Samoel Croco enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Xavier closes the distance and clinches up with Croco, looking for a takedown. Xavier pushes Croco against the cage but Croco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Xavier fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Croco avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Xavier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Croco shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Croco lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Xavier is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Croco pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Croco uses his free foot to push down on Xavier's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Xavier.
Croco is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Xavier can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Croco lands with some strikes.

Xavier tries to reverse the position but Croco maintains control.

Xavier manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Croco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Croco takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Croco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xavier keeps working.

Xavier is controlling Croco's trapped leg to prevent Croco from advancing to side control.
Xavier gets back to full guard.
Croco lands a couple of elbows.
Croco wants to control from the top but Xavier keeps moving.
Croco is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Croco postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Xavier looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Croco is defending well. Xavier quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Croco has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Xavier celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
