The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abraham takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Thorburn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Abraham moves out of range of the strikes.
Abraham keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thorburn lands a glancing blow to the side of Abraham's head.
Abraham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thorburn swivels and escapes.

Abraham shoots for a double leg takedown but Thorburn sprawls well. He's pushed Abraham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rich Thorburn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amr Abraham.
Thorburn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Abraham's hands.
Thorburn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Abraham takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Abraham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Abraham is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Thorburn engages and cracks Abraham with a massive lead left hook - Abraham tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Thorburn is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
