The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walden dodges the punch combination from Larionov.
Walden lands with a shot to the body.
Larionov looks for a takedown but Walden sprawls well.
Walden throws a series of punches but Larionov moves out of range.
Walden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Larionov is trying to defend but Walden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Walden throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Larionov.
It looks like Nikolai Larionov has been cut.
Walden is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Walden throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Larionov was covering up waiting for the punch and Walden finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well, if Walden is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Larionov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Walden is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Larionov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
