Obsen has chosen Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling as his entrance music. Yonaz Obsen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bongsworth tries to move into range but Obsen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bongsworth lands with a straight right. Obsen didn't see that one coming.
Bongsworth fails to land with a series of punches.
Obsen connects with a crisp jab.
Obsen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bongsworth sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Bongsworth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Obsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Obsen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bongsworth manages to get himself to full guard.

Obsen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Obsen wants to free his trapped foot but Bongsworth is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Obsen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bongsworth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bongsworth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Obsen is squirming around, avoiding Bongsworth's attempts to control the action.

and Bongsworth counters with a three punch combo that has Obsen backing up. Obsen nods at Bongsworth to acknowledge the strikes.
