The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Herbert connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Paul Daley has been cut.
Daley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daley throws a right and a left that Herbert avoids nicely.
Herbert avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Daley does no damage.
Paul Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daley throws a right hand that Herbert ducks under and follows up with a left that Herbert also avoids with ease.

Daley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Herbert clinches up with Daley and pushes him back against the cage.
Daley seems to have got his legs back now.
Daley wants to get back to striking at distance but Herbert won't allow it.

Herbert escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Herbert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Daley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Herbert fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Herbert lands a nice hook to Daley's body. Daley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Herbert connects with a looping right hand.
Herbert lands with a big left! Daley is wobbled badly! Herbert comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Daley to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
