The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush slips a jab from Hare.
Horrible takedown by Rush or perhaps it was just good defense by Hare which made him look bad.
Rush moves away from the strike by Hare.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hare.
Rush fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jimmy Hare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hare throws a sloppy head kick and Rush moves out of range easily.
Hare loads up on a big right hand but Rush slips the punch.

Hare is pressed up against the cage. Rush has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hare down to the mat. Hare avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hare throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rush seems to have recovered his senses.
Hare throws a leg kick but Rush sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Hare stands up from Rush 's guard - Hare perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rush looks to land a combination. Hare sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Hare throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
