Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Spivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas has chosen Drowning Pool- Let the bodies hit the floor as his entrance music. The key to victory for Richard Spivey has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spivey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Douglas shoots in but no luck this time.

Spivey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Spivey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Douglas keeps working.

Despite being in the dominant position, Gavin Douglas just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Douglas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spivey's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
