Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chunk Splitso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splitso throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie slips a straight right by Splitso.

Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Splitso did well to prevent Gracie getting side control.
Splitso is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Splitso is having none of it.

Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Splitso is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can.
Splitso wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Splitso is looking to escape.

Gracie is punishing Splitso with strikes - can he finish him?!
Splitso looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Splitso covers up after that shot from Gracie.

Splitso is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Gracie is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Splitso with him. Splitso is trying to defend but Gracie has an arm under the chin now! Splitso grimaces and is forced to tap out!
