Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Lapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ja Sku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sku takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lapa shoots in and drives through. Sku sprawls well.
Sku stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sku wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick from Lapa lands but Sku takes it in his stride.

and Lapa counters with a shoot takedown. Sku fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lapa throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Lasse Lapa just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sku can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lapa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sku throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lapa's body to avoid the submission. Lapa has instead reached around Sku's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lapa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
