The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andrakovski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Andrakovski showed some decent athleticism there.
Jackson is trying to maintain the position but Andrakovski is very close to passing his half guard.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Andrakovski pulls his head out easily.

Andrakovski looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Andrakovski has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Andrakovski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
