Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geronimo Sit Hirun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Geronimo Sit Hirun !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Roman!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sit Hirun tries to avoid it but Roman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sit Hirun to the ground. Sit Hirun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sit Hirun moves into the clinch successfully.
Roman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sit Hirun prevents it.
Sit Hirun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roman shoots for a takedown but Sit Hirun saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Geronimo Sit Hirun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Roman.
Roman tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sit Hirun counters by clinching up.
Roman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sit Hirun fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Roman jumps guard but Sit Hirun stands there with Roman around his waist. Roman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sit Hirun wants to control from the top but Roman keeps moving.

Sit Hirun has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Roman is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sit Hirun decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sit Hirun bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sit Hirun looks up at the clock and then as Roman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sit Hirun smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sit Hirun has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sit Hirun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sit Hirun lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Roman can't get the takedown.
Sit Hirun creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Roman's defenses.
It looks like Ivan Roman has been cut.
Sit Hirun landing knees to the head.
Roman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sit Hirun gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Sit Hirun is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sit Hirun connects with a knee to the head.
Roman tries to pull guard but Sit Hirun holds him up against the cage and eventually Roman drops back down to his feet.

Roman tries to circle away but Sit Hirun has him pinned against the cage.

Roman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sit Hirun avoids it.
Roman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sit Hirun avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roman looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Sit Hirun stands up out of the half guard.

Sit Hirun gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Roman stopping the sweep attempt from Sit Hirun .
Sit Hirun controls Roman momentarily but Roman frees himself.
Roman thows a big elbow that misses.
Roman working some strikes from top position.
Roman throws and elbow that misses. Sit Hirun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Roman's guard. Nice move by Sit Hirun !
Sit Hirun cracks Roman with a solid left hand.
Roman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sit Hirun gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sit Hirun counters with a left and a right that stings Roman.
Roman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Roman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sit Hirun 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sit Hirun makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Roman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Roman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Roman throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Roman has his foot on Sit Hirun 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sit Hirun works his way back into a safe position though.
Roman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sit Hirun stands up and waves to Roman to follow him.
Sit Hirun tries to close the distance and clinch but Roman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Geronimo Sit Hirun dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ivan Roman's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sit Hirun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sit Hirun doesn't manage to clinch there - Roman circles away.
Sit Hirun moves into range and clinches up with Roman.
Roman takes an elbow to the temple.
Sit Hirun gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Roman regains guard.

Sit Hirun wants to get up but he can't break Roman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sit Hirun drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sit Hirun jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sit Hirun is posturing up here but Roman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Sit Hirun tries to roll out but it's too tight and Sit Hirun has to tap! Slick submission there by Roman!
